Have you ever seen anything like this before?
The Navy Ambigram shown here is a nice short symmetric ambigram that is a good example of the letters in one orientation flipping over to become different letters in another orientation.
The graphic to the left shows that this design reads 'Navy' when upright and also reads 'Navy' when upside-down (or is it the other way around?).
